EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Ability to read, speak and understand English.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least six months verifiable work history as a mig welder.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to read and comprehend simple blueprints and assembly instructions, and the ability to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical calculations, the ability to fit together parts prior to welding, and the ability to produce a high quality consistent weld. The ability to use a finish grinder.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:
Ability to lift 100 pounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Hourly Welders, like the piece rate welders, are required to fit, weld, and grind various products to exact standards of quality.
